This Is one of the oldest villages In the valley. The first Information about It have been found In a document dating back to 726, where the area Is described as a coniferous wood. Now as In the old times the Municipality Includes two main centres, Pinasca and Dubbione. The most significant historical events date back to the religious fights age. The current parish church of Pinasca, named after Santa Maria Assunta, Is the biggest one In the valley; the one In Dubbione Is dedicated to San Rocco. Very Interesting Is the legendary bridge named after Hannibal, as It Is said to date back to the age of the famous leader, but probably dating back to the Middle Ages Instead..
